Some pictures from a visit to Grootkloof, one of many 'little canyons' in the Magaliedberg.

I've had very little luck photographing in the kloofs before, it's hard to deal with the harsh sunlight and deep shadows, and the mottled light that breaks up outlines like camoflage.

All with a Nikon F3 and 35/2 lens,
Fuji 400 exposed at 100 by mistake.
