First of all, the slide show... straight out of the scanner and into one of those easy photohop galleries, ragged borders and all, pending something nicer. You're not missing much in the way of commentry (perhaps having the story in a new window would help?) but there was local music, a tune for each of the 6 trays.
For best effect, try full screen mode - press F11 in IE. (This means you won't have to scroll, plus you'll see more shadow detail.)

Not included in the show were things shot on negative film. I put some hipshots from Nepal+India up a while ago, which I think hint at something more satisfying than the rather rigid shots above; they capture a little more of the feel of the places.
